The Embassy

Pastor Robbin, founder of Women of Deliverance and AHEART, is reviving St James Bible Deliverance and establishing it as The Embassy. This is a place where God's ambassadors can come to learn how to live like the diplomat they are. Training courses will be provided on a monthly basis.

Dr. Alberta Johnson's 91st Birthday

Dr Alberta Johnson's 91st Birthday!

Dr. Alberta Johnson is the founder of St James Bible Deliverance. She is the mother of Pastor Peaches and the grandmother of Pastor Robbin Hargrove.

Dr. Johnson was married to the late Elmer Thomas Johnson on October 16, 1945 in Elkton, Maryland.  They were married 49 years before “Elmer T” went on to glory on December 11, 1994.  From this union were born 4 beautiful children, one granddaughter, two grandsons, 1 great-grandson, 3 great-granddaughters, 3 wonderful son-in-laws and a grand-son-in-law.  She is one of eleven children born to the late James William Oscar Smith & Armelia M Vickers-Smith.

  • Ministry credentials first received in 1971

  • Founded St James Bible Deliverance Church in Jun 1977

  • Attended Jamison College and Oral Roberts University

  • Doctor of Divinity Degree received in 1995

  • Doctor of Theology Degree received in 1997

  • Graduated as Valedictorian out of a class of 1100 Theology students

  • Attended Bordentown Manual Training School of Trenton, NJ and Egg Harbor City High School. Received GED from Bridgeton High School.

  • Worked 30 years as a Caterer.

Interesting Facts

  • Her father, James William Oscar Smith was taught by Booker T Washington in Alabama.

  • Her Mother Armellia Mae was a full American Indian.

  • Her mother’s uncle, Henry Ward, due to his robust build was used during slavery as a “breeder” of children for the slave masters.

  • Dr. Alberta Johnson is also the Co-Founder of Zelphy’s Christian Learning Center in Millville, New Jersey.

  • Dr. Alberta Johnson is affectionately called Nana, Aunt Bert, Mom, Mommy and Momma Big Cheese.

  • She has a heart of gold and a very giving spirit.  She possesses a wealth of biblical knowledge and has instructed and led many people to Christ.
